Design & Make Workshop - Stern Didactic
From the digital design to the smart IoT vehicle – experience technology, shape the future.
Service Description
Stern Didactic's Design & Make Workshop takes participants through the complete process chain of modern product development in five intensive days. From the first sketch, through 3D printing and electronics, to programming and IoT connectivity, you build your own functional vehicle with Mecanum wheels, Arduino Nano 33 IoT, and individual control. The workshop is aimed at trainers, instructors, and technically interested learners who want to experience and teach modern competences in a hands-on way. All steps are clearly structured for teaching: Days 1–3 focus on design with Autodesk Fusion, assemblies, generative design, and the additive manufacturing of the parts. Day 4 is dedicated to electronics and building your own PCB. Day 5 introduces programming, sensors, and IoT-cloud connectivity – all the way to smartphone control. Each participant works with provided sets of electronics, motors, battery, and 3D-printed components. At the end, everyone takes the fully assembled vehicle home - including all CAD data, software, plans, and documents via Didactic Digital. The workshop combines design, mechatronics, programming, and AI-supported guidance into a continuous learning experience. Ideal for training centers, schools, universities, and companies that want to make modern technical education tangible.
